EMS FEDERATION CHARTER
Article III — Value Binding, Release, and Identity Persistence
Section 1 — Purpose and Scope
This Article governs the constitutional behavior of value, commitment, and identity within the EMS Federation.
It applies to all interactions involving Mercantile, Seal, Atelier, Gamecraft, and CEROAVAONO, and establishes the invariant rules by which value binds to the system, converts into embodied or archival form, and may be released without coercion.
Section 2 — Stated Value and Entry Commitment
Entry into the EMS Federation requires a stated value commitment, administered through Mercantile.
This stated value represents a unit of commitment and calibration, not a purchase of access, entitlement, or outcome.
The stated value exists in a pre-binding neutral state until the conditions of Section 3 are met.
Section 3 — Binding Threshold (Seal)
Binding occurs only upon successful traversal through Semaphore and execution of Seal.
Prior to Seal, no value is considered bound, consumed, or transformed by the system.
Failure to traverse Seal results in full release of the stated value, with no residual obligation or loss.
Section 4 — Embodiment Consumption (Atelier)
Upon activation of the Atelier des Figurines, materials are consumed to produce an embodied form.
At the moment of embodiment, the stated value transitions from refundable commitment to intrinsic system value.
This conversion is irreversible and reflects the material cost of embodiment rather than discretionary policy.
Section 5 — Archival Irreversibility (CEROAVAONO)
Any artifact, identity state, or lineage recorded within CEROAVAONO becomes non-fungible historical record.
Once recorded, lineage may not be revoked, erased, or retroactively altered.
Provenance may be referenced, transferred, or licensed through Mercantile, but not undone.
Section 6 — Release and Exit
A participant may exit the EMS Federation at any time.
If exit occurs prior to embodiment, the stated value is released in full.
If exit occurs after embodiment, the embodied cost remains with the system, reflecting material consumption.
Exit does not invalidate identity calibration or shadow presence accrued prior to departure.
Section 7 — Identity Persistence
Identity calibration, shadow presence, and traversal progress persist independently of active participation.
Withdrawal of capital does not constitute erasure of identity state.
Dormant identities may re-enter the system subject to prevailing traversal requirements.
Section 8 — Mercantile Symmetry
Mercantile operates as a reversible logistics membrane.
Inbound and outbound value flows are governed by parity principles.
Mercantile executes binding and release mechanically, without moral, discretionary, or narrative judgment.
Section 9 — Invariant Status
This Article constitutes a federation-level invariant.
No processor, domain, or interface may supersede or contradict these rules.
Amendments require explicit federation-level ratification.
